Ronald Andrew (Ron) Sutton was born and reared in Abilene, Texas. He met and fell hopelessly in love with a farmer’s daughter while in high school. The rest…is history.
Barbara Brady Sutton and I have two sons, two precious daughters-in-law and eight flawless grandchildren (six boys/two girls). Seth and Katy have five children. Gabriel and Lizzie have three children. We are so thankful for the blessings of family and friends.
Barbara and I have lived in Hood County (Pecan Plantation) for 26 years. We are blessed to be members of the Lakeside Baptist Church family and have been for 16 years. We enjoy the great outdoors and marvel at the awesome, intrinsic, beauty of God’s creation.
After graduating from Hardin-Simmons University; with degrees in Political Science and Business Administration, I went directly into the fabrics and garments manufacturing industries. I currently work in the international fabric development and distribution business and also represent LegalShield and IDShield as an independent agent. I am a Conservative and believe a conservative platform is the moral and political compass for the total well being of our great country and all it’s people.
Conservatives must unite and recruit everyone that embraces conservative values. Positive communication, enlightened marketing and education will perpetuate Conservatism and sustain our God given rights, our Constitutions, our great state and country
Born, reared and I lived most of my life in Oklahoma.
I spent 34 years as a Wholesale Distributor with Interstate Batteries. We covered the Western half of Oklahoma. During that time my wife Glena and I raised two wonderful daughters and now have 11 grandchildren in Oklahoma and Kansas. We retired in 2009 and in 2010 moved to Granbury to enjoy retirement on Lake Granbury.
Since moving to Granbury we have been active members of Granbury Church of Christ. I spend most of my time transforming old cars into Street Rods or fishing.
Having run a business for 34 years I have become even more conservative than my upbringing. Since retiring we have become more involved in politics because we see the values we grew up with being threatened more every day.
Mark was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He played football as a lineman, and was the President of the Distributive Education Club (DECA). He was named a Distinguished Graduate of Hillcrest High by DISD.
Mark was awarded several scholarships, including the Zales Salesmanship Award for best sales ability. He was the youngest jewelery salesman ever employed by Zales at that time.
Mark graduated from Texas A&M University with degrees in both Finance and Marketing. He was appointed as a member of the prestigious College of Business Administration Fellows program. He augmented his scholarships by starting his own advertising company called the Aggie Dollar.
After college, Mark worked for the largest provider of group health insurance and 401-k plans in the USA. He led the company in sales for two years, handling over 100 million dollars in assets.
Feeling the entrepreneurial spirit again, Mark founded a coffee company in the late 1990's providing equipment, training, and custom packaged coffee to retailers, grocers, and coffee service operators.
In the early 2000's, Mark felt the need to spread his wings, so he bought his first airplane and became a commercial pilot. He is type-rated in several different jet aircraft, and worked as an air-ambulance pilot and airline pilot for many years. Today he enjoys flying his Beechcraft Bonanza around the country.
Mark met his lovely wife Rebecca in 2007. The couple have three children, two of which are enrolled in the Granbury Independent School District.
In 2016, Mark served as Donald Trump's Campaign Chairman in Texas' 11th Congressional district, and plans to serve in the same role in 2020.
Mark has twice served as a delegate to the state Republican convention, and currently serves as a Republican Precinct Chair.
On a farm in the Hamby community near Abilene, Texas, I grew up with either a paint brush or a softball glove in my hand. With the help of an American Watercolor Society scholarship, I received a degree in art education at McMurry
University in Abilene. I taught in the public schools for twenty-four years before retiring to a full-time commitment to art.
My loving husband Ron is a great encourager of my art, and our entire family provides many subjects for my paintings. We have two sons Seth and Gabe who have been the center of our lives since the 70’s. Seth and his wife Katy have four sons and one daughter and live in Waco, Texas, and Gabe and his wife Lizzie have two sons and one daughter and live in Cedar Park.
Because family, religion, and education are so important to me and are such integral parts of the core of our great nation, I believe that all Conservatives should unite to promote what is morally right to protect our children, living and unborn; to insure our right to worship without persecution; and to equally educate all citizens.
MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
